A visit to Beaver Pond is always a good idea. This lake is so wonderful. The Bucklin Trail is a fine hiking trail right next door to Beaver Pond; at Beaver Pond you can catch a glimpse of Deer Leap Mountain. This lake is so wonderful. You can never get enough of the pleasant skiing at Killington, and a brilliant nearby hotel is Mendon Mountainview Lodge. There's so much to do here at Beaver Pond that you need to camp here for a while, White River Valley Camping is a good place for that. Man, is there heaps of fun stuff to do right next door to Beaver Pond. During your tour to Beaver Pond you'll meet some folks from Rutland for sure. dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's with temperatures at Beaver Pond dipping down into the 0's throughout winter nights. Beaver Pond is located in the Green Mountains.
Lakes are such serene places, why not explore Lefferts Pond in close proximity to Beaver Pond, and nearby you stumble on the Canty Trail which is a splendid hiking trail. Whitewater paddling is delightful on Mill River, and after
a long day outdoors Econo Lodge Killington Area is a great site to spend a night or two. The amount of rain that falls at Beaver Pond is close to the national average; August is when you get the most rain here while February is generally
the driest month. Get soaked paddling on Clarendon River. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Beaver Pond has to offer, you can camp at Night Eagle Wilderness. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this site. There
are other sites here than Beaver Pond, for example Kent Pond, and if the weather is tremendous, you can go for a hike along the Circle Trail. You'll beyond doubt wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the fun things in the Green
Mountains. At Beaver Pond Dam in close proximity to Beaver Pond there are some interesting things to see; nearby you find The Elbow which is a nice place to have a look at.
