Econo Lodge Killington Area is a nice location to get some rest, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Mill River. A lake nearby is Colton Pond, and if the weather is good, you can go for a hike along the Circle Trail. Just can't get enough of Beaver Pond. Get your pulse rate up on the glorious whitewater of Clarendon River. If you want a delightful time in the great outdoors just come on       up to the Green Mountains. Very good water scenery is available at Beaver Pond Dam near Beaver Pond; you can stay the night at Night Eagle Wilderness. Beaver Pond is not far at all from Rutland, and while you're here why not have a look at The Elbow. But wait, there's more to do right next door to Beaver Pond. If you need a place to stay Mendon Mountainview Lodge is a glorious choice, and the Canty Trail is a perfect hiking trail close by. For the duration                  of the months of summer at Beaver Pond highs are frequently in the 80's with nighttime lows in the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's, and nighttime lows through the wintertime for Beaver Pond tend to be in the 0's. You could also stop by South Pond while you're here at Beaver Pond; it's nearby. There's so much to do here at Beaver Pond that you need to camp here for a while, White River Valley Camping is a delightful site for that. This lake is located in the wonderful Green Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. On a fine day at Beaver Pond you can take a hike along the Bucklin Trail; everybody close by loves skiing at Killington. A typical amount of precipitation falls here at Beaver Pond; August is the wettest month with most rain, and February on the other hand is the driest.
