     A charming lake like Duck Pond in close proximity to Beaver Pond is a brilliant place to visit, and whitewater paddling is good on Clyde River. This lake is so wonderful. Get covered with water paddling on Nulhegan River, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Beaver Pond; Mount Pisgah East Trail is a perfect local trail. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Pisgah Trail. Through the days of summer, highs usually are in the 70's at Beaver Pond. During  
   the moonlight hours it's frequently in the 50's. High temperatures through the wintertime are normally in the 20's with temperatures at Beaver Pond dipping down into the 0's through winter nights.
So much amusing stuff to do here at Beaver Pond, too splendid to be true. Take a hike on the Mount Gore Trail, and the snow is brilliant at Burke Mountain. You'll locate a pretty lake called Round Pond near Beaver Pond, and a tremendous place to camp here at
 
               Beaver Pond is Char- BO Campground. The annual precipitation here at Beaver Pond is about average; August is the month that gets the most rain; the driest month of the year is February.
Camping is available at Char-Bo Campground; a splendid nearby hotel is Super 8 Motel - Derby/Newport Area.

I am suprised that I am being ask to be the first person to give input on this beautiful lake that spans northern VT into Canada. It is a lake that talks to you, as far as my opinion goes. I lived in Newport,Newport Center (Bear Mountain) and Noth Troy when I was bewtween the ages of 9-13. I am now 42!

I just recently went back to Newport and that beautiful lake that talked to me, and i think it helped me figure out a part of my life that has been a little bit difficult to understand and move ahead. I Do have somr pictures in some old photo albumd, and I will make an effort to submit,
