You'll really wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the cool stuff in the Green Mountains. Lakes are such serene places, why not stop at Green River Reservoir in the vicinity of Beaver Pond, and for you golfers we recommend close by Farm Resort & Golf Course. This place, the Green Mountains, has so much outdoors amusing stuff. Good hiking is available along the Haselton Trail. If you go for the outdoors you'll go for it here in the Green Mountains. A good

| | view of wonderful Davis Hill is available from Beaver Pond, and going for a hike on the Bayley Hazen Military Road Trail is always a wonderful adventure. This lake is so wonderful. Here at Beaver Pond you'll perhaps meet some folks from Barre, and if you need a site to stay Golden Eagle Resort is a magnificent choice. If you love the outdoors, you'll fancy Beaver Pond. interesting thing to go to near Beaver Pond is Beaver Lake Dam. Dry warm beds await you at Commodores Inn; Beaver Pond is great enough to spend more than a day at, Lakeview Camping Area is a great local campground. This lake is
so wonderful. Gihon River has a fine whitewater paddling spot close by, and why not take a little journey to Elmore Pond Brook while you're here. This is no place for people who don’t like to have a good time. If you don’t have a
problem getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Lamoille River - Wild Branch; Stowe is a very popular ski area in the vicinity. Go for a hike on the The Long Trail, and Morrisville Village Forest is a nice local forest.
There's so much to do here at Beaver Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Mountain View Campground is a great place for that; there are other places here than Beaver Pond, for example Beaver Lake. At Beaver Pond during the
summertime highs are in the 80's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 50's. All through the wintertime highs are usually in the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Beaver Pond. Beaver Pond regularly gets a great
deal of rain; the month with most of the rain is August while February is mostly the driest month. Beaver Pond is one of the lakes here in the Green Mountains.
