You can run the rapids of Joe's Brook River next to Beaver Pond, and on a magnificent day you can take a hike along the Groton State Forest Nature Trail. Be careful coming to the Green Mountains, you might not ever want to go home again. Swamps can be such interesting sites, explore Peacham Bog while you're here at Beaver Pond, and Big Deer Campground is a magnificent campground nearby. | | Groton Pond Dam is worth checking out since you're here. That right there is heaps of amusing stuff already but it goes on, the Green Mountains has it all. Not far from Beaver Pond, you'll find Groton Pond which is a stunning lake, and you obtain a good vista of Deer Mountain from here. This lake is so wonderful. Near Beaver Pond you discover the Hosmer Brook Trail which is a fine hiking trail, and you can stay the night at Stillwater Campground. Wells | |

River is a magnificent whitewater spot near Beaver Pond, and if you need a location to stay Comfort Inn & Suites is a perfect choice. This lake is so wonderful. Not far from Beaver Pond you can enjoy the trees of Groton State
Forest, and nothing beats kicking back at Boulder Beach. Beaver Pond is located in the Green Mountains. The amount of rainfall that falls at Beaver Pond is close to the national average; August is when you get the most rain here,
and February is the month with the least moisture. That right there is a lot already, but it goes on; Beaver Pond has it all. Fairbanks Inn is a great site to get some rest. High temperatures at Beaver Pond all through the summer
months are in the 70's. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Beaver Pond are in the 0's. And that's
not all you can do here at Beaver Pond. There is a good hiking trail next to Beaver Pond called the Coldwater Brook Trail; some close by water includes Beaver Brook.
