In Vermont there are many beautiful lakes, Beaver Pond is one of them. So much enjoyable stuff in the Green Mountains, just unbelievable. A great nearby hotel is Fairbanks Inn, and a glorious place to camp here at Beaver Pond is Big Deer Campground. From a precipitation point of view Beaver Pond is a reasonably normal site; most of the rain falls during August, and the driest month is February. For the period of the winter this place gets highs in the 20's; winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Beaver Pond. And that's not all the things to do here in the Green Mountains. Beaver Pond is not the only site close by, Groton Pond is a close by lake; there is a great hiking trail nearby called the Hosmer Brook Trail. If you fancy the outdoors, you'll love Beaver Pond. | |

A day at picturesque Boulder Beach near Beaver Pond is a good thing to do. This lake is so wonderful. In the event that you don’t have a problem getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Joe's Brook River, and Deer
Mountain can be distinguished from Beaver Pond. Don't forget to take a good little journey to Beaver Brook, and whitewater paddling is splendid on Wells River. This is no site for people who don’t like to enjoy themselves. A lake

day you can take a hike along the Coldwater Brook Trail. Camping is available at Stillwater Campground, and while you're here you can take a hike along the Groton State Forest Nature Trail.
