Bean Pond is a lake worth visiting. Go for a hike on the Herbert Hawkes Hiking Trail, and if you come at the right time of year, Clyde River offers some good whitewater. The amount of rain that falls at Bean Pond is close to the national average; August is the month that gets the most rain while February is frequently the driest month. Yep, outdoors entertaining stuff truly is plentiful here in the Green Mountains. White Caps Campground is a brilliant local campground;
