And if that's not enough there's a heap more entertaining stuff to do in the Green Mountains. Bean Pond is a splendid spot to visit for more than one day, White Caps Campground is a splendid spot to camp nearby, and a round of golf at nearby Kirby Country Club is a good way to kill some time. Yep, outdoors enjoyable stuff to do are in fact plentiful here       at Bean Pond. In the event that you don't mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Joe's Brook River. Bean Pond is located in the Green Mountains. During the summertime here at Bean Pond, high temperatures typically reach the 70's, and throughout the night it cools down to the 50's. All through the winter the highs are generally in the 20's; after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Bean Pond sink into the 0's. This                  lake is so wonderful. The South Shore Hiking Trail is a great hiking trail near Bean Pond, and Chandler Pond Dam is an attention-grabbing thing to check out. On a tremendous day at Bean Pond you can take a hike along the Herbert Hawkes Hiking Trail, and of course Mathewson Brook flows through this area. Just can't get enough of the Green Mountains. Near Bean Pond you hit upon the Mount Pisgah Trail which is a delightful hiking trail, and do visit Chandler Pond, it's a charming lake. Institute Pond is a nearby lake that you could have a look at, and whitewater paddling is good on Moose River. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Holiday Motel and Annex; the slopes of Burke Mountain are so inviting nobody can resist. Bean Pond gets a typical amount of annual precipitation; most of the rain falls during August, and the driest month is February. So many fun things near Bean Pond, absolutely amazing.
