You'll hit upon a stunning lake called Equinox Pond near Barbos Lake. There's so much to do here at Barbos Lake that you need to camp here
for a while, Howell's Camping Area is a great location for that. This lake is located in the wonderful Green Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. What would winter be without some skiing at Snow Valley, and there are plenty of people
from Bennington here.
The yearly rain here at Barbos Lake is about average; August is when you get the most rain here; February is the month with the least moisture. Norton Brook is one of the streams nearby that might be worth
checking out; soar down the rapids of Battenkill River in a kayak. Summertime highs at Barbos Lake frequently tend to be in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures dip down into the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to
the 30's; through the dark hours in the winter at Barbos Lake temperatures drop to the 0's.
