If you are in this part of Vermont make sure to pay a visit to Barber Pond. The sight of The Dome from Barber Pond is stunning; everybody nearby loves skiing at Mount Greylock Ski Club. The fine people of Bennington like to hang out close by, and hiking along the Williams Trail is perfect fun. Bald Mountain Trail offers hiking at its best. The scenery at Barber Pond Dam close to Barber Pond is beautiful, and Knights Inn Bennington is a brilliant location to get some rest. That right there is plenty already, but it goes
on; Barber Pond has it all. Paddling on Walloomsac River is so much fun, and Barber Pond is a great place to visit for more than one day, Shady Acres Campground is a great place to camp nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Stay the
night at Merck Forest Foundation, and Barber Pond is right by the Taconic Crest Trail. Gotta ski! Jiminy Peak is a pleasant place to do that.
