If you come at the right time of year, Minister Brook offers some delightful whitewater, and it's a magnificent idea to check out Lanes Brook. And if that's not sufficient, there's a load more to do in the neighborhood of Bancroft Pond. If you came to camp Onion River Campground is a splendid site to do that; hiking is a popular thing to do around Bancroft Pond; Owls Head Trail is a great local trail. Lakes are perfect; Laird Pond is a lake that's in the neighborhood of Bancroft Pond; if you're dropping by from Barre, you won't be the only one. if you go for the outdoors. Camping at Spooners Trailer Park and Campground is always a wonderful experience, and a splendid nearby hotel is Days Inn Barre Montpelier. Jones State Forest is a forest close to Bancroft Pond that
you can go to. High temperatures at Bancroft Pond during the months of summer are in the 70's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 50's. Throughout the winter this place gets highs in the 20's, and through the dark hours in
the wintertime at Bancroft Pond temperatures fall to the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. Hollow Inn and Motel is a glorious place to get some rest, and don't leave Bancroft Pond without first going for a hike along the Kettle Pond
Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Here at Bancroft Pond you can see Maple Hill, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop at nearby Mud Pond. This lake is located in the wonderful Green Mountains.
