All through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 30's; after the sun is down all through the winter temperatures at Ball Mountain Reservoir dip into the 10's. You'll stumble on a beautiful lake called Adam Pond near Ball Mountain Reservoir; get dripping wet paddling on West River. Not enough  
   hours in a day to enjoy the Green Mountains. Hamilton Falls is an inspiring location to take a look at during your stay, and after a long day outdoors Mt Snow Grand Summit Resort is a wonderful place to spend a night or two.

               Mountain Brook is near Ball Mountain Reservoir and is always a delight to go to, and a day on the slopes of Stratton is just what you need. This lake is so wonderful. Ball Mountain Reservoir is a relatively wet place usually with a lot of rain; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain, and the driest month is February. Head up to Magic Mountain and strap some skis to your feet; you acquire a great panorama of Ball Mountain from here. Ball Mountain Reservoir is one of the lakes here in the Green Mountains.
All the outdoors cool things in the Green Mountains will keep you coming back persistently. Soar down the rapids of Ball Mountain Brook in a kayak, and magnificent hiking is available along the Overlook Trail. Yeah, come up here to the Green Mountains for a brilliant time. This lake is so wonderful. Go for a hike on the Hamilton Falls Trail, also Ball Mountain Dam is worth going to since you're here.
And if that's not sufficient, there's a load more to do in close proximity to Ball Mountain Reservoir. Salmon Hole is something you shouldn't miss since you're here at Ball Mountain Reservoir, and there's fine hiking along the Railroad Bed Trail.

...he fish and environment) we should stop building around the world, this is one contribution to global warming and obviously the fact that we will eventually outgrow our environment. I suggest rebuilding ontop of old houses if you have the money to build a new house at all otherwise, renovate.I also wish to somehow reduce population which is nearly impossible to do all over the world, china has a good system for that (though a little strict its neccessary you only need two at the most anyway more than that is just rediculous) in building, we need roads, well when it rains the roads and the houses prevent the acidic rain from penetrating and filtering throughout the peat and other minerals in the ground. This filtration helps maintain proper ph (affects fish immensely) and filter sediment out (which hinders the gills of fish)not to mention aids in producing topsoil. so the acid rain is now draining in ditches and along the road into ... sadawga, harriman res., and any other local streams which WILL go to larger bodys of water affecting the fish in numerous ways. I'm just a local catch ...
