If you are in Addison county it's always a good idea to stop by Baldwin Pond. Baldwin Pond is a beautiful lake in the Green Mountains. What a location this is for outdoors people. After a long day outdoors Courtyard By Marriott Burlington/Williston is a glorious place to spend a night or two, and if you came for an overnight stay Rivers Bend Campground is a perfect place to camp. Throughout the long summer days at Baldwin Pond temperatures are usually in the 80's, and during

| | the night it cools down to the 50's. During the wintertime highs are regularly in the 20's while Baldwin Pond night low temperatures during the wintertime are in the 0's.
This lake is so wonderful. The Beaver Meadow Trail is a brilliant hiking trail near Baldwin Pond, and camping is available at Green Mt. Family Campground. A typical amount of rain falls here at Baldwin Pond; through the month of August you get the most rain around here while February is | |

generally the driest month. This place, the Green Mountains, has so much outdoors cool things. Get yourself into a kayak and hit New Haven River, and the skiing at Cochran Ski Center is pleasant.
So much enjoyable stuff to do
in the Green Mountains, not enough time. There are some fine whitewater spots on Huntington River, and dry warm beds await you at Residence Inn By Marriott Burlington. This lake is so wonderful. Baldwin Pond is a location with many
visitors from Burlington-South Burlington. On a fine day at Baldwin Pond you can take a hike along the Beane Trail; a day on the slopes of Mad River Glen is just what you need.
One of the governing features of the surroundings
of Baldwin Pond is East Mountain, and if the weather is glorious, you can go for a hike along the Jerusalem Trail.
