Bald Hill Pond is always a pleasure to visit. This lake is located in the wonderful Green Mountains. Now, you may imagine that's a lot but there's even more enjoyable stuff to do here at Bald Hill Pond. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Bald Hill Pond; Mount Pisgah Trail is a brilliant local trail, and scenic scenery and great skiing is what you get at Burke Mountain. | | mood you can always stop by nearby Sawdust Pond; skiing at Lyndon Outing Club is one of those things you just must do. This is a glorious region for people who like lakes. Brown Pond is a lake close at hand, and do take a hike on the Herbert Hawkes Hiking Trail. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Bald Hill Pond has to offer, you can camp at White Caps Campground, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend | |

is so wonderful. A pleasant nearby hotel is Holiday Motel and Annex, and Fairbanks Inn is a great place to get some rest. Throughout the days of summer here at Bald Hill Pond, high temperatures usually get into the 70's. Summer overnight
lows dip down to the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 20's, and all through the dark hours in the winter at Bald Hill Pond temperatures sink to the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. Bald Hill Pond is a great
place to visit for more than one day, White Caps Campground is a great place to camp nearby, and why not take a refreshing hike along the South Shore Hiking Trail. The amount of rain that falls at Bald Hill Pond is close to the national
average; the wettest month of the year is generally August, that's the one that rains the most; the driest month of the year is February.
