There's just no way someone can get bored here at Baker Pond. There are splendid locations to discover along the Hedgehop Hill Loop Trail, and during your visit here you'll meet some folks from Barre for sure. You can take a little spree to Baker Pond Dam while you're here at Baker Pond; at Baker Pond you can spot Bear Hill. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the Clark Brook Trail is always       a delightful adventure, and if you like skiing, you're in luck; Sugarbush is pretty near. Baker Pond gets a common amount of yearly rain; most of the rain falls during August while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Summertime at Baker Pond arrives with high temperatures in the 70's, and all through the night it cools down to the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 20's, and after the sun is down all through the wintertime temperatures at                  Baker Pond descend into the 0's. Near Baker Pond you find the Bear Hill Trail which is a great hiking trail. Lakes? Sure, Wardner Pond is in the neighborhood. Yeah, come up here to the Green Mountains for a good time. There are other places here than Baker Pond, for example North Pond, and glide down the rapids of Mad River in a kayak. All the outdoors exciting stuff in the Green Mountains will keep you coming back time and again. After a long day outdoors Hilltop Inn is a brilliant spot to spend a night or two, and Baker Pond is a great site to visit for more than one day, Limehurst Lake is a great site to camp nearby. This lake is so wonderful. The snow is brilliant at Twin Farms; Comfort Inn & Suites at Maplewood is a great spot to get some rest. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Baker Pond has to offer, you can camp at Lake Champagne Campground, and get soaked paddling on White River.
