If you are traveling by, why not stop by Back Pond. These mountains rock, just explore all the enjoyable things to do in the Green Mountains. Back Pond is right by the Shore Trail; if you came to camp Burke Mountain Campgrounds is a pleasant spot to do that. Take a hike on the Red Pine Trail. Back Pond is a good site of normal precipitation; throughout the month of August you get the most rain around here; February is when it's the driest. Lakes are such

| | calm sites, why not stop by Beecher Pond near Back Pond; Lyndon Outing Club is a brilliant local ski area. Summertime highs at Back Pond ordinarily tend to be in the 70's while night lows are ordinarily in the 50's. Through the wintertime the highs are regularly in the 20's, and overnight lows in the 0's for Back Pond. This lake is so wonderful. If you're here at Back Pond, do take a trip to Eagle Point; Holiday Motel and Annex is a pleasant location to get some rest. | |

Back Pond is located in the Green Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. The skiing at Burke Mountain is perfect; a quick spree to Lightning Brook is certainly a great idea. Any time is a brilliant time at Back Pond if you have a thing
about the outdoors. A great site for whitewater paddling next to Back Pond is Nulhegan River; there are other spots here than Back Pond, for example Island Pond. There's so much to do here at Back Pond that you need to camp here
for a while, Lakeside Camping Area is a brilliant spot for that, and hiking along the Main Trail is brilliant fun. If you want a delightful time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Green Mountains. Clyde River is a perfect
whitewater spot in the neighborhood of Back Pond; the trees of Brighton Municipal Forest are a pleasant source of shade on hot summer days.
