Austin Pond is a nice lake to visit. This location is peerless, just explore all the exciting stuff to do near Austin Pond. You can run the rapids of Poultney River in the vicinity of Austin Pond, and if you need a place to stay The Middlebury Inn is a wonderful choice. This lake is so wonderful. At Austin Pond you can make out Eagle Rock. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Austin Pond has to offer, you can camp at Half Moon State Park Campground.

| | Interesting geology is available here; Barber Ledge is right next door to Austin Pond, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Austin Pond; Half Moon Pond Trail is a brilliant local trail. There are plenty of folks from Rutland here at Austin Pond; there's good hiking along the Daniel Coffey Memorial Trial. This lake is so wonderful. you like golf, you can go to Prospect Bay Country Club, and Austin Pond is a wonderful location to visit for more than one day, Big D Campground is a wonderful location to camp nearby. The annual precipitation here at Austin Pond

 | 1 PHOTO Tent Sites, RV Hookups, Pets OK, Fires OK, Store, Nearby Grocery, Pool... - 36 RV hookups... ...ill always have a delightful time. Getting to Neshobe River from Country Village Campground is simple, and Middlebury River has a great whitewater paddling spot nearby.
Outdoor recreation is bountiful, some of the enjoyable stuff you can do is swimming, playing golf at Neshobe Golf Club, whitewater paddling, hiking, and fishing, so you won’t run out of things to do.
The folks who look after the campground and all the nice pastime activities will make you feel at home. Quite a lot of cool stuff to do next to Country Village Campground, and it's one of those places where everything is close.
If only every location had this much outdoor entertaining stuff, what a great planet it would be. A tremendous place like Half Moon Pond State Park is near Country Village Campground and is too wonderful to leave out, and going for a hike on the Falls of Lana Trail is always a perfect adventure. All through the warm days of summer at Country Village Campground highs are mostly in the 80's, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the ... |

Second is off the AT a short way. At the top is a rock art garden where a sign for White Rocks cliff trail 0.2 to overlook, great view west north and south.
