Many people like to go to Austin Pond. The Middlebury Inn is a pleasant place to get some rest; great water scenery is available at Austin Pond Dam in the neighborhood of Austin Pond. If only every location had this much outdoors exciting stuff, what a great globe it would be. Whitewater paddling is brilliant on Poultney River, and nice hiking is available along the Half Moon Pond Trail. You have to definitely stop at Barber Ledge while you're here at Austin

Lake Hortonia is a nearby lake that you could explore, and camping is available at Big D Campground. is so wonderful. On a delightful day you get a vista of Eagle Rock from Austin Pond, and if you don't mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Otter Creek. While you're here at Austin Pond you can play some golf
at Prospect Bay Country Club, and don't leave Austin Pond without first going for a hike along the Daniel Coffey Memorial Trial. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Austin Pond; Bomoseen Hiking Loop is
a delightful local trail, and if you need a location to stay Courtyard By Marriott Middlebury is a pleasant choice. From a precipitation point of view Austin Pond is a quite normal place; the month of August is the wettest with
most of the rain, and February is when it's the driest. During the warmest time of the year at Austin Pond highs are generally in the 80's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Through the winter highs are mostly in the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Austin Pond.
