The Green Mountains scenery is always beautiful. This lake is so wonderful. In case you don’t have a problem getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on White River, and you can stay the night at Silver Lake Family Campground. So many enjoyable things to do in the Green Mountains, not sufficient time. Really magnificent skiing awaits you at Suicide Six, and why not take a refreshing hike along the       Mount Peg Foot and Bridal Trails. Amity Pond is a location with many visitors from Lebanon; do take a hike on the Barnard Trail. While you're here at Amity Pond, you could also stop at delightful The Pogue, and after a long day outdoors Woodstock Inn And Resort is a fine place to spend a night or two. This spot, the Green Mountains, has so much outdoors exciting things. White River - First Branch has a splendid whitewater paddling spot nearby, and hiking                  along the Hang Glider Trail is delightful fun. Amity Pond typically gets much rainfall; August is the month that gets the most rain, and February is the month with the least moisture. If you go for the outdoors, you'll go for Amity Pond. There's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Twin Farms. There's so much to do here at Amity Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Silver Lake State Park is a nice place for that. For the duration of the summer months, highs frequently are in the 70's at Amity Pond; through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Amity Pond are in the 0's. This lake is so wonderful.
