Go to Amherst Lake if you want to go to a nice lake. This lake is so wonderful. There are other sites here than Amherst Lake, for example Echo Lake, and pleasant hiking is available along the Bucklin Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Not far from Amherst Lake you locate Carpenter Point, and a pleasant place to camp here at Amherst Lake is Coolidge State Park. Amherst Lake gets lots of water; August is the month that gets the most rain while February is typically

| | the driest month. Amherst Lake is located in the Green Mountains. Be careful coming to Amherst Lake, you might not ever want to go back home again. If you need a spot to stay The Pointe at Castle Hill Resort is a great choice; some of the water nearby flows, like Buffalo Brook. of summer are in the 80's. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 50's. Throughout the wintertime the highs are usually in the 30's, and after the sun is down throughout the winter temperatures at Amherst Lake descend into the
10's. If you want a good time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Amherst Lake. In the event that you don’t have a problem getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Black River. If you want a good time
in the great outdoors just come on up to the Green Mountains. A good vista of stunning Blueberry Hill is available from Amherst Lake, and don't leave Amherst Lake without first going for a hike along the Barnard Trail.
