Green Mountains, you might not ever want to go back home again. There are other sites here than Amherst Lake, for example Tiny Pond, and if you come at the right time of year, Mill River offers some brilliant whitewater. You just
can't picture the amount of outdoors amusing stuff the area right next door to Amherst Lake has to offer. Camping is available at Plymouth Village Campground, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we
recommend West River. Amherst Lake is one of the lakes here in the Green Mountains. High temperatures at Amherst Lake throughout the warm days of summer are in the 80's with nighttime lows in the 50's. Daytime highs through the
wintertime are in the 30's, and night lows at Amherst Lake through the winter mostly dip into the 10's. Yeah, come up here to the Green Mountains for a brilliant time. Not far from Amherst Lake, you'll stumble on Lake Ninevah which
is a beautiful lake, and after a long day outdoors Jackson Gore Inn on Okemo Mountain is a good spot to spend a night or two. That right there is loads of enjoyable things already but it goes on, the Green Mountains has it all.
The sight of beautiful Bear Mountain near Amherst Lake is great; Amherst Lake Dam is a spot that is in the neighborhood of Amherst Lake.
