you can take a hike along the Molly Stark Trail, and Red Mill Brook Campground is a glorious campground nearby. There's whitewater on Deerfield River for all you adrenaline kick people; Adams Reservoir is not far at all from Bennington.

be in the 0's. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Deerfield River - East Branch, and if you like skiing, you're in luck; Haystack is pretty near.
