     Have a great hiking adventure along the Kelly Camp Trail; after a long day outdoors The Porches Inn at MASS MoCA is a tremendous spot to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking along the Molly Stark Trail is great fun, and a lake close by is Mill Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Do go to Adams Reservoir Dam if you're here at Adams Reservoir, and you'll possibly meet some folks from Bennington here. While you're here at Adams Reservoir you can  
   take a hike along the Atwood Trail, and if the weather is lovely, you get a great sight of Stamford and Woodford Plateau from Adams Reservoir.
Throughout the summer months, highs commonly are in the 80's at Adams Reservoir. Through the moonlight hours it's typically in the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 30's; after the sun is down all through the winter temperatures at Adams Reservoir fall into the 0's. On a glorious day you can check out Beaver Meadows,
 
               a swamp in close proximity to Adams Reservoir, and if you come at the right time of year, Deerfield River offers some fine whitewater.
Life's too short to enjoy all the cool stuff near Adams Reservoir. Red Mill Pond is a nearby lake that you could stop at, and there's some flowing water nearby, Little Pond Brook is a stream you can have a look at while here. Adams Reservoir sees pretty high levels of precipitation; August is the wettest month with most rain while February is typically the driest month. You assume that's enough? Just getting warmed up. If you need a place to stay Mt Snow Grand Summit Resort is a good choice; Red Mill Brook Campground is a magnificent campground nearby.
Get yourself into a kayak and hit Deerfield River - East Branch; you can hit the slopes at Haystack in the neighborhood. Adams Reservoir is a fine site to visit for more than one day, Holysmoke Camps is a fine site to camp nearby, and Mount Snow is a very popular ski area in the vicinity.
