    If you are in this part of Vermont make sure to pay a visit to Adamant Pond. Hit the slopes at Stowe close by, and do pop by Adamant Pond Dam while you're here. But wait, there's more to do right next door to Adamant Pond. Get wet paddling on Minister Brook. This lake is so wonderful. Looking for something next to Adamant Pond? Sodom Pond is in the vicinity, and the Owls Head Trail offers hiking at its best.
Adamant Pond sees pretty high levels of rain;
 
   the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain; February is when it's the driest. For the duration of the long summer days at Adamant Pond temperatures are regularly in the 60's, and the nighttime is somewhat cooler of course, mostly in the 50's. High temperatures throughout the wintertime are normally in the 10's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Adamant Pond. This place, Adamant Pond, it truly has so much outdoors amusing stuff. You're most  
               likely keen on lakes, Crystal Pool is one of those nearby, and dry warm beds await you at Hilltop Inn.
This lake is so wonderful. A good location to camp here at Adamant Pond is Green Valley Campground, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Adamant Pond; Silver Ledge Trail is a magnificent local trail. That right there is a load of cool stuff already but it goes on, the Green Mountains has it all. There's a glorious forest close to Adamant Pond called Calais Town Forest, and at Adamant Pond you can catch a sight of Blackberry Hill. Adamant Pond is a beautiful lake in the Green Mountains.
Beaver Meadow Brook is close to Adamant Pond and is always a joy to explore, and there's glorious hiking along the Kettle Pond Trail. Camping is available at Onion River Campground; The Inn at Montpelier is a tremendous location to get some rest. You'll truly wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the entertaining stuff in the Green Mountains. Paddling on Winooski River is so much fun, and at Adamant Pond you always meet someone from Barre.
