This lake is one of the great places here in the Green Mountains. The panorama of Blackberry Hill from Adamant Pond is delightful, and do take a hike on the Owls Head Trail. Having a good time in the Green Mountains is trouble-free. Adamant Pond is a fine location to visit for more than one day, Onion River Campground is a fine location to camp nearby, and in the event that you don’t have a problem       getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Minister Brook. This lake is so wonderful. Calais Town Forest is a glorious local forest, and if you need a site to stay The Inn at Montpelier is a brilliant choice. Adamant Pond is a quite wet place frequently                  with lots of precipitation; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
