Camping is available at Bald Mountain Camp Ground, and don't leave Adam Pond without first going for a hike along the Overlook Trail. This lake is so wonderful. You can run the rapids of West River right next door to Adam Pond, and there are good sites to explore along the Railroad Bed Trail. While you're here at       Adam Pond, you could also stop at beautiful Ball Mountain Lake; Hamilton Falls is a pretty spot to stop at while you're at Adam Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Winterplace on Okemo Mountain, and a delightful location for whitewater paddling is Ball Mountain Brook. During the warmest time of the year at Adam Pond temperatures are commonly in the 80's. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 50's. High temperatures                  all through the winter are normally in the 30's, and overnight lows during the winter for Adam Pond tend to be in the 10's. Stratton has fine slopes and a friendly staff, and Ball Mountain Reservoir is a nearby lake that you could explore. So many cool things close to Adam Pond, just unbelievable. There's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Magic Mountain, and there's perfect hiking along the Hamilton Falls Trail. Now, you may think that's a lot but there's even more amusing stuff to do here in the Green Mountains. No need to travel far to explore attention-grabbing stuff like Salmon Hole, and if you came for an overnight stay Camperama is a nice location to camp. Ball Mountain Brook is a brilliant local stream; wonderful water scenery is available at Ball Mountain Dam right next door to Adam Pond. Yep, outdoors entertaining things to do are truly plentiful here at Adam Pond. Mt Snow Grand Summit Resort is a pleasant spot to get some rest, and you obtain a nice panorama of Ball Mountain from here. Adam Pond gets lots of water; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain; the driest month of the year is February. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors entertaining stuff the Green Mountains has to offer.
