Abenaki, and the smiling folks of Lebanon like to hang out close by. Really perfect skiing awaits you at Whaleback; there are swamps here too, Gillette Swamp is around here. For the period of the warm days of summer at Lake Abenaki
highs are ordinarily in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures dip down into the 50's. Throughout the wintertime highs are ordinarily in the 20's, and all through the dark hours in the wintertime at Lake Abenaki temperatures
fall to the-10's. A striking lake like Lake Abenaki near Lake Abenaki is a glorious spot to stop at, and there is a tremendous hiking trail nearby called the Dartmouth Outing Club Trail. This lake is so wonderful. There are some
delightful whitewater spots on Ompompanoosuc River, and close by you discover the Wrights Mountain Trail which is a glorious hiking trail.
