Wildwood Campground is a wonderful campground nearby, and get yourself into a kayak and hit James River. Woody Lake is a pretty wet place typically with a great deal of rainfall; all through October this area sees the most rain; January is when it's the driest. Yeah, come here to Woody Lake for a good time. If you need a place to stay Americas Best Value Inn is a great choice, and close by you hit upon the Tolley Gap Trail which is a good hiking trail.
