Woodstock Reservoir is a nice lake to visit. Woodstock Reservoir is nice enough to spend more than a day at, Big Stony Family Campgrounds is a nice local campground, and everyone nearby loves skiing at Bryce Resort. You can run the rapids of Trout Run right next door to Woodstock Reservoir, and do take a hike on the Mill Mountain Trail. Mount Jackson is a wonderful choice; Woodstock Dam is a stunning place, without doubt worth visiting. Get your heart beating on the delightful whitewater of Stony Creek - North fork Shenandoah Tributary; Holiday Inn Express WOODSTOCK-SHENANDOAH
VALLEY is a great place to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. Have a wonderful hiking adventure along the Mill Mountain Trail, and if you came to camp Trout Pond Campground is a fine place to do that. For the period of
the warm months, highs regularly are in the 80's at Woodstock Reservoir while overnight lows are generally in the 60's. Throughout the winter this place gets highs in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Woodstock Reservoir are in the 10's.
