Woodside Lake is always a pleasure to visit. This lake is so wonderful. Take a hike on the Potomac Heritage Trail; if you haven’t been to Fort Washington Park, you must schedule some time for it while you're here. Dry warm beds await you at Residence Inn By Marriott Tysons Corner, and Mather Gorge is definitely a nice location to stop at. This lake is so wonderful. | | Run Campground is a nice location for that, and why not take a look at Woodside Dam since you're here.
For you golfers we recommend close by Herndon Town Golf Course Municipal, and Sheraton Premiere At Tysons Corner is a nice site to get some rest. Woodside Lake gets a common amount of rainfall; the wettest month of the year is generally May, that's the one that rains the most, and February meanwhile is the driest month. but it keeps on going; Woodside Lake has it all. Woodside Lake is right by the Gold Mine Trail; if the weather is pretty, you get a fine vista of Freedom Hill from Woodside Lake.
Paddling on Difficult Run is so much fun; Woodside
Lake is magnificent enough to spend more than a day at, Valley Mill Camp is a magnificent local campground. Have a delightful hiking adventure along the Meadow Trail, and the cheerful folks of Washington-Arlington-Alexandria like
to hang out nearby.
Visit Difficult Run while you're here at Woodside Lake, and a lake nearby is Spring Lake. And that's not all you can do here at Woodside Lake. Float down the rapids of Potomac River in a kayak, and if you get
bored of Woodside Lake you could also take a look at close by Wolf Trap Farm Pond. Through the warm days of summer here at Woodside Lake, high temperatures typically reach the 80's. Summer nighttime lows drop down to the 60's. The
cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's, and all through the dark hours in the wintertime at Woodside Lake temperatures dip to the 20's.
