There's whitewater on Roanoke River - North Fork for all you adrenaline people; Willow Springs Lake is tremendous enough to spend more than a day at, Interstate Overnight Park is a tremendous local campground. All the outdoors enjoyable stuff in the Blue Ridge Mountains will keep you coming back time and again. You'll discover a beautiful lake called Pandapas Pond near Willow Springs Lake,       and if you need a place to stay Courtyard Blacksburg is a good choice. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the amusing things at Willow Springs Lake. A magnificent close by hotel is Days Inn Blacksburg, and nearby you come across the Poverty Creek Horse Trail which is a magnificent hiking trail. The annual rainfall here at Willow Springs Lake is about average; most of the rain falls during May; the driest of the months is January. Camping at                  Dixie Caverns is always a glorious experience; you can run the rapids of Roanoke River - South Fork. Don't stop me now, cause I'm havin' a magnificent time here at Willow Springs Lake. This lake is so wonderful. If the weather is wonderful here at Willow Springs Lake, you can go for a hike along the Brush Mountain Horse Trail, and since you're here and you like golf, you can stop by Blacksburg Municipal Golf Course. For the duration of the warm months at Willow Springs Lake highs are ordinarily in the 80's, and during the night it cools down to the 50's. For the period of the wintertime highs are commonly in the 40's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Willow Springs Lake. You'll meet a lot of people from Blacksburg-Christiansburg-Radford here, and if you're here, you could stop at Indian Run. Yeah, come up here to the Blue Ridge Mountains for a magnificent time.
