If you are in this part of Virginia make sure to pay a visit to Willow Lake. Willow Dam is not far at all from Willow Lake; on a beautiful day you obtain a great panorama of Griffin Mountain from Willow Lake. The annual rainfall here at Willow Lake is about average; most of the rain falls during July; the driest month is February.

| | Park is a delightful place for that; get yourself into a kayak and hit Broad Run. A glorious close by hotel is Good Stone Inn. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Willow Lake has to offer, you can camp at Greenville Farm Family Campground. Goodstone Inn is a tremendous site to get some rest; since you're here you can take a hike along the Belle Meade Linden Trail.
