Willow Lake sees pretty high levels of rain; the month with most of the rain is July, and January on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. A great place to camp here at Willow Lake is Wildwood Campground, and if you've had enough of Willow Lake, Rockdale Lake is nearby. People from Lynchburg love to       come to Willow Lake, and a good nearby hotel is Sleep Inn Lynchburg. Willow Lake is glorious enough to spend more than a day at, Paradise Lake Campground is a glorious local campground, and Peak's Par 3 Golf Course is a golf course close by. Any time is a nice time at Willow Lake if you like the outdoors. If you need a place to stay SpringHill Suites Lynchburg is a splendid choice, and whitewater paddling is fine on James River. Throughout the summertime                  months highs here at Willow Lake reach the 80's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 60's.
