What a nice lake Wilda Lake is. So much fun stuff in the Blue Ridge Mountains, just inspiring. If you need a location to stay Microtel Inn Staunton is a good choice; perfect hiking is available along the Kennedy Ridge Trail. The annual rainfall here at Wilda Lake is about average; the month with most of the rain is August while February is commonly the driest month. | | Creek Resort is a wonderful location to do that, and there are other spots here than Wilda Lake, for example Lake Wilda.
Wilda Lake is one of the lakes here in the Blue Ridge Mountains. During the summer at Wilda Lake temperatures are mostly in the 80's with overnight lows in the 60's. always go whitewater paddling on Tye River - North Fork, and if you're going to from Staunton-Waynesboro, you won't be the only one.
Why not check out South River Number Seven Dam since you're here, and you can go for a hike on
the Stony Run Trail. Life's too short to enjoy all the cool stuff in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Wintergreen is a glorious local ski area. There's so much to do here at Wilda Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Walnut Hills
Campground is a wonderful spot for that. Whitewater paddling is good on Marl Creek - South R.Trib.
This lake is so wonderful. Why not go to nearby Deep Pond Run while you're here at Wilda Lake, and dry warm beds await you at Staunton
- Days Inn Mint Springs. Lakes are such peaceful sites, why not visit Hattons Pond in close proximity to Wilda Lake; don't leave Wilda Lake without first going for a hike along the Cold Spring Bald Mountain Trail.
