This lake is so wonderful. At Weavers Dam right next door to Weavers Millpond there are some interesting things to see, and you'll hit upon a beautiful lake called Lake Independence. Camping is available at Westmoreland State Park, and going for a hike along the Big Meadow Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity. Weavers Millpond gets a normal amount of annual rainfall; the month of May is the wettest       with most of the rain; February is the month with the least moisture. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the exciting things at Weavers Millpond. Why not camp at Heritage Park Resort if you're here at Weavers Millpond, and Millers Glen Golf Course is a brilliant golf course nearby. Through the summertime, highs regularly are in the 80's at Weavers Millpond. Summer overnight lows fall down to the 60's. Through the wintertime the highs are generally                  in the 40's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Weavers Millpond. Dry warm beds await you at Tappahannock-Days Inn Downtown, and hiking along the Turkey Neck Trail is good fun. Bettys Neck is around here and always good to pop by; Thompson Hill can be seen from Weavers Millpond. This lake is so wonderful.
