All year is a good time in the Blue Ridge Mountains if you have a thing about the outdoors. Enjoy a round of golf at Bowling Green Country Club not far from Warren Reservoir; you can have a delightful hiking adventure along the Dickey Hill Trail. Manassas Run is one of the streams close by that might be worth going to. This lake is so wonderful. Gooney Run is a great whitewater spot near Warren Reservoir; on a wonderful day you can take a hike along the Rattlesnake Trail. All through the summer months highs here at Warren Reservoir reach the 80's. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 60's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Warren Reservoir.
