Near Warren Reservoir you hit upon the Dickey Hill Trail which is a splendid hiking trail, and the scenery at Warren Dam is charming. Warren Reservoir gets a common amount of annual precipitation; July is the wettest month with most rain, and January is when it's the driest. Throughout the summer months at Warren Reservoir highs are regularly in the 80's. For the period of the moonlight hours it's generally in the 60's. Through       the winter this place gets highs in the 30's, and nighttime lows throughout the wintertime for Warren Reservoir tend to be in the 10's. And if that's not sufficient there's heaps more exciting things to do in the Blue Ridge Mountains. A pretty lake like Apple Mountain Upper Lake close to Warren Reservoir is a fine place to pop by, and camping at Front Royal Koa Kampground is always a brilliant experience. The Blue Ridge Mountains scenery is always beautiful. Take                  a side journey to Manassas Run. This lake is so wonderful. Bowling Green Country Club is a delightful golf course nearby; Quality Inn Skyline Drive is a splendid place to get some rest. Going for a hike on the Belle Meade Linden Trail is always a glorious adventure, and a tremendous nearby hotel is Holiday Inn Hotel & Suites FRONT ROYAL BLUE RIDGE SHADOWS. Just can't get enough of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Glide down the rapids of Gooney Run in a kayak, and Warren Reservoir is magnificent enough to spend more than a day at, Shenandoah River State Park is a magnificent local campground. Go for a hike on the Rattlesnake Trail; some exciting geology is available here, Horseshoe Bend is right here. Just can't get enough of Warren Reservoir.
