Lakes are magnificent; Motts Run Reservoir is a lake that's in close proximity to Twin Lakes. This lake is so wonderful. Twin Lakes is a place with many visitors from Richmond, and after a long day outdoors Best Western Fredericksburg is a nice site to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. There are glorious sites to explore along the Gracik Trail, and Dunning Mills Inn is a great       location to get some rest. Don't leave Twin Lakes without first going for a hike along the Coon Trail; Rappahannock River is a great whitewater spot close by. The amount of rain that falls at Twin Lakes is close to the national average; the month with most of the rain is May, and February is the month with the least moisture. This is a great vicinity for people who like lakes. Lake Carroll is a lake in the vicinity, and if you're here you can play some golf                  at Cannon Ridge Golf Club. A magnificent spot to camp here at Twin Lakes is Indian Acres Club Of Thornburg, and in case you don’t mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Rapidan River. This place, Twin Lakes, it absolutely has so much outdoors enjoyable stuff. Some of the water nearby flows, like Long Branch, and if the weather is beautiful, you obtain a pleasant panorama of Lees Hill from Twin Lakes. But wait, there's more to do near Twin Lakes.
