You'll locate a beautiful lake called Leon Hanson Pond near Trice Lake, and while you're here, you could go to Big Cattail Creek. If you come at the right time of year, Slate River offers some fine whitewater; if you need a place to stay Best Western Crossroads Inn & Suites is a great choice. Trice Dam is worth a visit while you're here; a magnificent close by hotel is Shenandoah Crossing. Trice Lake is a good       site of typical rainfall; the month with most of the rain is August while January is regularly the driest month. Summer at Trice Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 80's. During the moonlight hours it's usually in the 60's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the 40's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Trice Lake. So many exciting things to do here at Trice Lake, too great to be true. Bear Creek State Park is a great campground                  nearby; there are some delightful whitewater spots on Hardware River. This lake is so wonderful.
