    Go to Todd Lake if you want to go to a nice lake. You can take a little journey to Staunton Dam since you're here at Todd Lake, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Todd Lake; Little Skidmore Trail is a wonderful local trail. You're sure to run into some good folks from Staunton-Waynesboro here. Visit Broad Run if you're here at Todd Lake, and Elkhorn Mountain is wonderful and can be distinguished from here.
At Todd Lake through the warm days of summer
 
   highs are in the 80's. During the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 40's, and overnight lows in the 10's for Todd Lake. This lake is so wonderful. A good place for whitewater paddling near Todd Lake is Little River - North R. Tributary, and if you came to camp Stokesville Park Recreational is a wonderful place to do that. Why not take a refreshing hike along the North River Gorge Trail. There's  
               so much to do here at Todd Lake that you need to camp here for a while, North River Campground is a glorious spot for that.
This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Olde Staunton Inn is a great spot to spend a night or two, and in case you don’t mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on North River. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this spot. The Chestnut Ridge Trail offers hiking at its best, and Shenandoah Mountain Inn is a good place to get some rest. A common amount of precipitation falls here at Todd Lake; July is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest month is January.
Do stop by Staunton Reservoir near Todd Lake, it's a pretty lake, and Todd Lake is next to Daggy Camp Hollow which is undeniably worth stopping at.
