From a rain point of view Todd Lake is a pretty common location; July is the wettest month with most rain, and January is the month with the least moisture. There's whitewater on Little River - North R. Tributary for all you adrenaline kick people, and Todd Lake is a place with many visitors from Staunton-Waynesboro. Whohoo, so many amusing things in one place! Todd Lake is excellent!. This lake is so wonderful. You       can run the rapids of North River in the vicinity of Todd Lake, and Elkhorn Lake is a fine lake nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Good hiking is available along the Little Skidmore Trail, and if you need a location to stay Howard Johnson Express Inn Staunton is a magnificent choice. There's nice hiking along the Chestnut Ridge Trail, and a fine close by hotel is Holiday Inn Staunton-Golf & Conf Ctr, Va. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Todd Lake; North River Gorge Trail is a pleasant local trail, and if you fancy a little side trip, try Daggy Camp Hollow. At Todd Lake you can make out Elkhorn Mountain. There's so much to do here at Todd Lake that you need to camp here for a while, North River Campground is a tremendous location for that. There's some flowing water close by, Broad Run is a stream you can take a look at during your stay, and there are other places here than Todd Lake, for example Staunton Reservoir. Through the days of summer at Todd Lake temperatures are mostly in the 80's, and all through the night it cools down to the 50's. During the winter this place gets highs in the 40's, and night lows all through the winter for Todd Lake tend to be in the 10's.
