Tippecanoe Lake is always a pleasure to visit. Throughout the summertime at Tippecanoe Lake highs are usually in the 80's with nighttime lows in the 60's. High temperatures throughout the wintertime are normally in the 40's, and during the dark hours in the wintertime at Tippecanoe Lake temperatures sink to the 20's. This lake is so wonderful. There are some good whitewater spots on Potomac River. There is a great hiking trail right next door to Tippecanoe

| | Lake called the Potomac Heritage Trail, and not far from Tippecanoe Lake you'll come across Cedar Lake which is a scenic lake. And if that's not enough, there's a load more to do in close proximity to Tippecanoe Lake. Playing golf is lots of fun at Poolesville Golf Course. a day to look at everything Tippecanoe Lake has to offer, you can camp at Turtle Run Campground. A lot of rain falls at Tippecanoe Lake; the wettest month of the year is typically May, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest of the months is February.
