Timber Lake sees pretty high levels of rainfall; most of the rain falls throughout May, and February is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. There are wonderful locations to discover along the Potomac       Heritage Trail. Very magnificent water scenery is available at Timberlake Dam near Timber Lake; this is a popular site for folks from Washington-Arlington-Alexandria. All through the summertime at Timber Lake highs are regularly in the 80's with nighttime lows in the 60's. For the period of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 40's, and night lows in the 20's for Timber Lake. Go for a hike on the Gold Mine Trail; if you're a golfer then a great close                  by course is Penderbrook Golf Club. Yep, outdoors amusing things to do are beyond doubt abundant here at Timber Lake.
