Throughout the summer, highs usually are in the 80's at Thrasher Lake. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 60's. The cold days       of the winter come with highs in the 40's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Thrasher Lake. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Thrasher Lake; White Rock Gap Trail is a great local trail; at Thrasher Lake you always meet someone from Lynchburg. This lake is so wonderful. Be careful coming to Thrasher Lake, you might not ever wanna return home again. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Cold Spring Bald Mountain Trail, and Jennings Mountain is stunning and can be seen from here.
