You'll need more than a day to look at everything Lake Tecumseh has to offer, you can camp at Virginia Beach Campground. Good hiking is available along the Main Trail; Malbon Swamp is close to Lake Tecumseh and is always a joy to go to. Don't forget to take a look at Dam Neck if you're here at Lake Tecumseh, and there are other sites here than Lake Tecumseh, for example       Lake Redwing. At Lake Tecumseh through the warmest time of the year highs are in the 80's. Summer nighttime lows fall down to the 60's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 40's while the cold winter nights at Lake Tecumseh are in the 30's. Lake Tecumseh is a wet place that gets a great deal of rain; July is the month that gets the most rain; November meanwhile is the driest month. Take a look at nearby Black Gut, and there are nice spots to explore                  along the White Hill Lake Trail. This is no spot for people who don’t like to have a good time. If you're here at Lake Tecumseh and you like golf, you can stop by Hells Point Golf Club Department; after a long day outdoors Beach Quarters Resort is a magnificent site to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. There are plenty of folks from Virginia Beach-Norfolk-Newport News here at Lake Tecumseh; don't leave Lake Tecumseh without first going for a hike along the Long Creek Trail. This lake is so wonderful.
