Why not camp at Ashland Resort since you're here at Tazewell Reservoir, and paddling on Clinch River is so much fun. High temperatures at Tazewell Reservoir throughout the warm months are in the 80's. Summer nighttime lows plunge down to the 60's. Daytime highs throughout the wintertime are in the 40's; through the dark hours in the wintertime at Tazewell Reservoir temperatures dip to the 10's. This lake is so       wonderful. Cox Branch is a stream that you may run into while you're here; do put some time aside to spend at Burton Spring if you're here at Tazewell Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Tazewell Reservoir; Walker Mountain Trail is a glorious local trail, and nearby you find Crag Hollow which is a good site to check out. Camping is available at Richwood Golf Club, and after a long day outdoors Comfort Inn Bluefield                  is a tremendous place to spend a night or two. A golf course near Tazewell Reservoir is Richwood Golf Club & Campgrounds; dry warm beds await you at Econo Lodge Bluefield. No way I can stop, cause I'm havin' a tremendous time here at Tazewell Reservoir. If the weather is pretty, you get a good sight of Chimney Rock from Tazewell Reservoir; lots of people from Bluefield come here.
