After a long day outdoors Courtyard Fredericksburg Historic District is a pleasant place to spend a night or two; a lake close by is Moss Neck Manor Lake. Country Inn & Suites By Carlson, Fredericksburg South, VA is a magnificent spot to get some rest; hiking along the Crash Trail is brilliant fun. Taylors Pond gets a typical amount of rainfall; all through the month of May you get the most rain around here while February is the month with the least amount

| | of precipitation. Don't leave Taylors Pond without first checking out Devils Woodyard Turn, and get soaked paddling on Aquia Creek. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Taylors Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Campground 721 is a nice site for that, and a journey to Fort Washington Park is recommended. Going for a hike along the Kell Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area, and Taylors Pond is not the only | |

place nearby, Presidential Lake is a nearby lake. What a place this is for outdoors people. Taylors Pond is wonderful enough to spend more than a day at, Hidden Acres Family Campground is a wonderful local campground, and why not
stop by Taylors Dam if you're here. All through the summertime at Taylors Pond temperatures are regularly in the 80's with night lows in the 60's. Highs during the wintertime are usually in the 40's, and after the sun is down
during the winter temperatures at Taylors Pond descend into the 20's. Dicks Creek flows through this region; if you're here, do take a trip to Corbins Neck. This lake is so wonderful. Farleyvale Bar is a good place to explore, and
if the weather is good, you can go for a hike along the Murder Trail. Taylors Pond truly is in the middle of a gorgeous outdoors paradise. Paddling on Rappahannock River is so much fun.
