This lake is so wonderful. If you came for an overnight stay Campground 721 is a wonderful spot to camp; you can have a nice hiking adventure along the Kell Trail. Lakes? Sure, Presidential Lake is in the neighborhood; Taylors Dam is delightful. If you're here at Taylors Pond, you could have a look at Dicks Creek, and Aquia Creek is a great whitewater spot nearby. High temperatures at Taylors Pond during the summertime are       in the 80's. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 60's. During the winter highs are in the 40's with temperatures at Taylors Pond dipping down into the 20's through winter nights. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop at nearby Moss Neck Manor Lake; Taylors Pond is in the neighborhood of Farleyvale Bar which is certainly worth checking out. The yearly precipitation here at Taylors Pond is about average; May is the month that gets                  the most rain while February is ordinarily the driest month. Devils Woodyard Turn is a nice place to take a look at while in the area, and do take a hike on the Crash Trail. That right there is loads already, but it keeps on going; Taylors Pond has it all. All our national parks are great spots to take a look at, and Fort Washington Park is no exception. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Taylors Pond you can take a hike along the Murder Trail, and a good site for whitewater paddling is Rappahannock River. And that's not all you can do here at Taylors Pond.
