Cedar Hills Golf Course is a golf course right next door to Taylor Lake; get yourself into a kayak and hit Harris Creek. There's so much to do here at Taylor Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Paradise Lake Campground is a good spot for that, and do check out Smith Branch since you're here at Taylor Lake. Taylor Lake is a wet place that gets a good deal of precipitation; during July this       area sees the most rain, and January on the other hand is the driest. So many fun things to do at Taylor Lake, so little time. Dry warm beds await you at SpringHill Suites Lynchburg; if you're going to from Lynchburg, you won't be the only one. Through the summer here at Taylor Lake, high temperatures generally get into the 80's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 60's.
