Yep, outdoors cool things to do are in fact bountiful here at Taylor Lake. Cedar Hills Golf Course is a golf course next to Taylor Lake; there are other sites here than Taylor Lake, for example Seminole Lake. Harris Creek is a fine whitewater spot in the neighborhood of Taylor Lake, and why not stop at nearby Smith Branch       while you're here at Taylor Lake. If you don’t have a problem getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on James River. Here at Taylor Lake you'll probably meet some folks from Lynchburg, and Rockdale Lake is a good lake close by. Taylor Lake gets much water; the wettest month of the year is regularly July, that's the one that rains the most; the driest of the months is January. At Taylor Lake through the summer highs are in the 80's. Through                  the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 60's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 40's with temperatures at Taylor Lake dipping down into the 20's during winter nights. This lake is so wonderful.
