There are plenty of people from Richmond here at Sykes Lake, naturally you could also pop by Hanzlik Pond while you're here; it's not far at all. This lake is so wonderful. In case you don’t mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Appomattox River, and Sleep Inn & Suites At Fort Lee is a good place to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is magnificent on James River. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Sykes
Lake has to offer, you can camp at Roadrunner Campground. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this place. Harrison Creek is in the neighborhood of Sykes Lake and is always a delight to visit, and if you're hooked on cool geologic marks try The Crater.
