Summertime highs at Switzer Lake generally tend to be in the 80's with night lows in the 50's. Massanutten has good slopes and a friendly staff, and if you get bored of Switzer Lake you could also take a look at nearby Skidmore Fork Lake. Switzer Lake gets a common amount       of yearly rain; the wettest month of the year is frequently July, that's the one that rains the most while January is ordinarily the driest month. Man, is there loads of amusing stuff to do right next door to Switzer Lake. Stay the night at Stokesville Park Recreational. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this location. A lake nearby is Lower North River Site 82 Lake; a tremendous spot for whitewater paddling is Dry River. Going for a hike on the Rader Mountain Trail is always a fine adventure; Bandywine Lake Campground is a tremendous campground nearby. Switzer Dam has tremendous water scenery and it's near Switzer Lake, and why not check out close by Payne Run if you're here at Switzer Lake.
