Swan Lake is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. On a magnificent day at Swan Lake you can take a hike along the Old Romney Grade; getting to Keckley Run from Swan Lake is uncomplicated. There's some attention-grabbing stuff to make out at Crystal Dam in the neighborhood of Swan Lake, and folks from Winchester love to come here. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Back Creek - Potomac Tributary, and nearby you discover glorious places like Clowser

During the long summer days highs here at Swan Lake get into the 80's. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 50's. During the wintertime this place gets highs in the 40's while Swan Lake night low temperatures through the winter are in the 10's. There is a glorious hiking trail in the neighborhood of Swan Lake called the Signal Knob Trail, and not far from Swan Lake you'll stumble on Emerald Lake which is a charming lake.

There's so much to do here at Swan Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Candy Hill Campground is a splendid place for that; close by you discover the Little Passage Trail which is a great hiking trail. Whohoo, so many exciting
things in one place! Swan Lake is unbeatable! You'll need more than a day to discover everything Swan Lake has to offer, you can camp at Cove Campgrounds, and after a long day outdoors Courtyard by Marriott Winchester is a good place
to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always pop by nearby Beaver Lake, and if you need a place to stay Days Inn Winchester is a delightful choice.
Swan Lake is a good place of typical rainfall; July is when you get the most rain here, and February is when it's the driest.
