All the water falling down from the sky makes Stratford Millpond a wet site; August is the wettest month with most rain; the driest of the months is February. The top of Kentucky       Hill is easily seen from Stratford Millpond, and there are perfect locations to look at along the Turkey Neck Trail. During the summer here at Stratford Millpond, high temperatures mostly get into the 80's while night lows are generally in the 60's. Daytime highs all through the wintertime are in the 40's, and all through the dark hours in the winter at Stratford Millpond temperatures plunge to the 20's. This lake is so wonderful. You'll need more than                  a day to discover everything Stratford Millpond has to offer, you can camp at Westmoreland State Park, and Best Western Warsaw is a nice location to get some rest. Any time is a splendid time at Stratford Millpond if you love the outdoors. If you want to hit the beach, The Sands is nearby, and you can go for a hike on the Big Meadow Trail. Port Sunlight Beach is near Stratford Millpond if you're in a beach type of mood; needless to say Big Meadow Run is a stunning stream that is worth going to. This lake is so wonderful.
