Why not spend some time golfing at a nearby golf course like Carper's Valley Golf Club, and there's always Stephens Park Dam to visit in the vicinity of Stephens Park Lake. Get drenched paddling on Happy Creek; there are plenty of folks from Winchester here. This lake is so wonderful. Soar down the rapids of Cedar Creek in a kayak; why not camp at Front Royal Koa Kampground since you're here at Stephens Park Lake.       So much enjoyable stuff to do here at Stephens Park Lake, too magnificent to be true. There are pleasant places to look at along the Signal Knob Trail, and Holiday Inn Express Stephens City, Va is a good site to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. Go for a hike on the Shawl Gap Trail. Stephens Park Lake is a good spot of normal rain; July is when you get the most rain here, and January on the other hand is the driest. And if that's not enough there's                  a heap more fun things to do in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Don't leave Stephens Park Lake without first going for a hike along the Dickey Hill Trail; lakes are such peaceful sites, why not visit Lakeside Lake. High temperatures at Stephens Park Lake through the warmest time of the year are in the 80's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 60's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's while the cold winter nights at Stephens Park Lake are in the 10's. Just can't get enough of the Blue Ridge Mountains.
