A round of golf at nearby Carper's Valley Golf Club is a tremendous way to kill some time; you're perhaps into lakes, Lakeside Lake is one of those close by. Stephens Park Lake gets a normal amount of yearly precipitation; during the month of July you get the most rain around here, and the driest of the months is January. This lake is so wonderful. There are tremendous locations to look at       along the Dickey Hill Trail; as expected, this is a brilliant vicinity for folks who like lakes, Lake Frederick is a lake in the neighborhood. But wait, there's more amusing stuff to do in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Stephens Park Dam is an exciting thing to check out; Stephens Park Lake is not far at all from Winchester. This lake is so wonderful. Summertime highs at Stephens Park Lake generally tend to be in the 80's with nighttime lows in the 60's. Highs all through the wintertime are generally in the 30's, and nighttime lows through the wintertime for Stephens Park Lake tend to be in the 10's. Going for a hike on the Shawl Gap Trail is always a great adventure, and camping is available at Candy Hill Campground. This spot rocks, just look at all the amusing things to do near Stephens Park Lake. Get wet paddling on Happy Creek; close by you hit upon the Signal Knob Trail which is a tremendous hiking trail. Having a good time in the Blue Ridge Mountains is simple.
