Stephens Park Lake is a beautiful lake in the Blue Ridge Mountains. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Stephens Park Lake has to offer, you can camp at Front Royal Koa Kampground, and Carper's Valley       Golf Club is a nice golf course nearby. During the summertime highs here at Stephens Park Lake get into the 80's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 60's. During the winter this place gets highs in the 30's with temperatures at Stephens Park Lake dipping down into the 10's during winter nights. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Holiday Inn Express Stephens City, Va is a splendid spot to spend a night or two. There's so much to do here                  at Stephens Park Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Candy Hill Campground is a magnificent spot for that. The annual precipitation here at Stephens Park Lake is about average; July is when you get the most rain here; the driest month is January. Be careful coming to Stephens Park Lake, you might not ever wanna go home again. Country Inn & Suites By Carlson, Winchester, VA is a fine place to get some rest, and while you're here, you could also go to beautiful Lakeside Lake. You just ought to like the Blue Ridge Mountains. The Shawl Gap Trail is a good hiking trail in close proximity to Stephens Park Lake; there are some wonderful whitewater spots on Happy Creek. Man, is there a load of amusing stuff to do in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Cedar Creek, and on a fine day you can take a hike along the Signal Knob Trail.
