Why not camp at Stokesville Park Recreational if you're here at Stark Pond; going for a hike along the Dividing Ridge Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity.

Dry warm beds await you at Holiday Inn Staunton-Golf & Conf Ctr, Va; Horse Trough Hollow is also a splendid location to discover. You'll meet a lot of folks from Staunton-Waynesboro here, and while you're here you can take a hike along the Bald Knob Trail.
