Spring Lake is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. The Blue Ridge Mountains scenery is always beautiful. Dry warm beds await you at Wingate by Wyndham - Lexington; Elephant Mountain is charming and can be seen from here. This lake is so wonderful. There are great sites to discover along the Cashaw Creek Trail, and why not stop at Keys Mill Dam if you're here.

| | Hollow; don't leave Spring Lake without first going for a hike along the Piney Ridge Trail. Yep, outdoors amusing stuff to do are in fact bountiful here at Spring Lake. There's so much to do here at Spring Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Shady Mountain Campground is a glorious place for that, and after a long day outdoors Lexington Super 8 Motel is a great place to spend a night or two.

night lows dip down to the 60's. Through the winter this place gets highs in the 40's; nighttime lows in the 20's for Spring Lake. You completely must fancy the Blue Ridge Mountains. You can run the rapids of Hay's Creek next to Spring
Lake, and going for a hike on the Rocky Row Trail is always a pleasant adventure. Marl Creek is a splendid whitewater spot close to Spring Lake; do explore Chalk Mine Run while you're here at Spring Lake.
Spring Lake gets a typical
amount of rainfall; through the month of May you get the most rain around here; the driest of the months is January. These mountains rock, just explore all the entertaining stuff to do in the Blue Ridge Mountains. A cool spot to pop
