This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Wingate by Wyndham Lexington; you'll discover a scenic lake called Sheppe Pond. Lakes are such calm places, why not visit Lynchburg Reservoir near Spring Lake, and close by you stumble on the Cashaw Creek Trail which is a good hiking trail. | | Piney Ridge Trail is always a good adventure. Life's too short to enjoy all the fun things in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Shady Mountain Campground is a tremendous local campground, and some of the water nearby flows, like Chalk Mine Run. This lake is so wonderful. descends down to the 60's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 40's with temperatures at Spring Lake dipping down into the 20's throughout winter nights. This lake is located in the wonderful Blue Ridge Mountains.

The peak of Elephant Mountain can be observed from Spring Lake; Super 8 Lexington VA is a glorious location to get some rest. What a site this is for outdoors people.
