The Blue Ridge Mountains scenery is always beautiful. All through the days of summer here at Spring Lake, high temperatures generally reach the 80's. Summer night lows descend down to the 60's. During the winter highs are in the 40's while Spring Lake night low temperatures throughout the wintertime are in the 20's. You'll in fact wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the amusing       things in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Reservoir Hollow is a glorious place to explore; if you need a place to stay Wingate by Wyndham - Lexington is a great choice. And that's not all you can do here at Spring Lake. Whitewater paddling is pleasant on Marl Creek; going for a hike along the Piney Ridge Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region. A typical amount of rain falls here at Spring Lake; during the month of May you get the most rain around                  here while January is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Dry warm beds await you at Lexington Super 8 Motel; you can have a great hiking adventure along the Cashaw Creek Trail. This lake is so wonderful.
