That right there is loads of enjoyable stuff already but it goes on, the Blue Ridge Mountains has it all. A magnificent site for whitewater paddling in the neighborhood of Spring Lake is Shenandoah River; you're in all probability keen on lakes, Lake of the Clouds is one of those close by. Rock Spring is a good local attraction, and after a long day outdoors SUPER 8 MOTEL - FRONT ROYAL is a splendid       place to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Shenandoah River State Park is always a delightful experience, and Bowling Green Country Club is a golf course close by. There's always Spring Lake Dam to go to near Spring Lake; hiking is a popular thing to do around Spring Lake; Belle Meade Linden Trail is a splendid local trail. Be careful coming to the Blue Ridge Mountains, you might not ever want to go back home again.
