Beautiful Spring Lake has much to offer visitors. This lake is so wonderful. If you're here at Spring Lake and you like golf, you can pop by Herndon Town Golf Course Municipal, and if you came for an overnight stay Christopher Run Campground is a great place to camp. While you're here at Spring Lake you can take a hike along the Meadow Trail, and there are some tremendous whitewater spots on Potomac River. The vista of Freedom Hill from Spring Lake is beautiful,

Spring Lake is a good place of common rainfall; of all the months in a year May is the one with the most rain, and February is when it's the driest. Wolf Trap Farm Pond Dam is stunning and it's in close proximity to Spring Lake, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Difficult Run. Visiting Fort Washington Park is just something you need to do if you haven't yet. This lake is so
wonderful. Valley Mill Camp is a glorious campground nearby; dry warm beds await you at Vienna Wolf Trap Hotel.
All the outdoors cool things near Spring Lake will keep you coming back time and again. Have a splendid hiking adventure along the Gold Mine Trail, and hey, Old Courthouse Spring Branch is a tremendous local stream.
